Every guide on re9guide.it.com is labeled with a 3-tier spoiler rating. This page explains exactly what each tier means so you can choose what to read based on your progress in Resident Evil Requiem.
Why we use spoiler tiers
Resident Evil: Requiem has a strong narrative with significant character reveals, plot twists, and surprise enemy encounters. Some players want to read collectible guides without learning who the final boss is. Others have already finished the game and want comprehensive boss strategies. The 3-tier system serves both audiences fairly.
The 3 spoiler tiers
✓ SPOILER LEVEL: LOW
Pre-game safe
Information that does not reveal story content, character identities, surprise enemies, or plot points. Safe to read before starting the game or during early play.
Includes: Mechanic explanations, control schemes, weapon stats, crafting recipes, beginner tips, basic collectibles (Mr. Raccoons by area name), safe codes (without context), puzzle solutions (without story relevance).
Examples: Beginner's Guide, Best Weapons Tier List, All Safe Codes, All Quartz Puzzle Solutions, Best Crafting Recipes, All Mr. Raccoon Locations, All Antique Coins.
⚠ SPOILER LEVEL: MEDIUM
Mid-game safe
May reference character names, location reveals, mid-game enemy types, and gameplay structure. Story moments are not described in detail. Safe to read after first 5-10 hours of play.
Includes: Character comparisons, difficulty progression, trophy lists, post-game content overview, speedrun setup, weapon unlocks.
Examples: All 49 Trophies Guide, All Bosses Ranked by Difficulty, Grace vs Leon Differences, How to Unlock Insanity, Speedrun Guide.
⚠ SPOILER LEVEL: HIGH
Post-completion recommended
Detailed boss attack patterns, named enemy reveals, specific story moments, and post-game secrets. Read only after completing the campaign or when actively seeking help on a specific encounter.
Includes: Boss strategy guides (named bosses), late-game content, secret endings, hidden puzzles, NG+ exclusive content.
Examples: How to Beat Victor Gideon, How to Beat Super Tyrant (Mr. X), How to Beat The Commander, How to Beat Plant 43, NG+ Final Puzzle & RNA Sequence.
How to use this system
- Brand new players: Stick to LOW tier guides for the first 5 hours of play.
- Mid-game players: LOW and MEDIUM tier are safe. Avoid HIGH unless you're stuck.
- Post-credits players: All tiers are safe to read.
- Trophy hunters: Start with the MEDIUM-tier Trophy Guide for an overview, then dive into HIGH-tier boss guides as needed.
Where you'll see the labels
Every article page displays its spoiler tier as a colored badge near the top of the page, just below the title. The badge is also visible at the top of every article when shared on social media (Open Graph metadata).
