What's the hardest boss in Resident Evil Requiem?

Dr. Victor Gideon, the final boss. Two-phase fight with electric attacks, RPG-7, and tentacle sweeps. Mortal Edge Hatchet from The Commander fight is mandatory.

Which boss gives the Mortal Edge Hatchet?

Defeating The Commander in the ARK Facility rewards the Mortal Edge Hatchet, significantly faster swings, larger parry window, and better finisher damage. Essentially required for the Victor Gideon fight.

Can I skip the optional bosses?

Yes. The Chef and Chunk #1 are optional. However, Chunk #1 drops the Eye Spy Charm (random fatal damage save) which is highly recommended for Insanity. The Chef drops the Pantry Key for free supplies.

How do I beat Mr. X efficiently?

Aim for the pulsating heart on his chest, body shots barely damage him. Parry his charges with the Hatchet to create damage windows, then dump Requiem rounds into the heart. Run from thrown cars and leap attacks (cannot be parried).

Does Infinite Ammo void boss-related trophies?

No. Infinite Requiem and Infinite RPG do NOT void any trophies. You can use them to trivialize Insanity boss fights and still earn the Remarkable Agent and RE9 Master trophies.
